Can I just flood or gas the burrow?

Please don't. Fumigants are dangerous near occupied structures and illegal to use carelessly, floods rarely reach a den chamber dug above the water line, and both fail if a second exit exists, which there almost always is. Trapping plus closure is cheaper than a cracked slab.

Will it come back next spring?
